What file formats does Vohly support?
Vohly works exclusively with Markdown (.md) files. Markdown is plain text, which means it works perfectly with text-to-speech and inline editing.
Is my data stored securely?
Yes. Your files are stored securely and are only accessible to you. We use encryption at rest and in transit to protect your data.
Can I use Vohly offline?
Offline mode is on our roadmap. Currently, Vohly requires an internet connection, but we plan to add progressive web app support for offline reading.
How does text-to-speech work?
Vohly uses server-side speech synthesis to read any page aloud. Just click the play button and audio is generated in the background, ready when you need it.
Can I export my library?
Absolutely. You can export your entire library or individual files at any time. Your data is always yours.
Is there a mobile app?
Vohly is a responsive web app that works great on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is planned for the future.
